The Fine Dining Conservatory is a beautiful setting and has gained many accolades over its 48 years. The Duck Restaurant , listed in the Michelin Guide, opened in 2015 and has received numerous awards for its food, service and atmosphere. The Duck offers a more casual option and unique dining experience and a warm and friendly working environment among a friendly and strong team of professionals.

We're currently looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our well established team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of our restaurant and cocktail bar, ensuring a seamless and elegant guest experience
- Have at least one years experience at restaurant supervisory level
- Lead, inspire and develop the front-of-house team to deliver warm, attentive and personalised service
- Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, ambience and hospitality throughout
- Curate and uphold premium bar service standards, with strong oversight of cocktail execution and beverage quality
- Manage staffing levels, rotas and team performance
- Monitor stock control
- Drive revenue through thoughtful upselling, service excellence and attention to detail
- Respond to guest feedback with professionalism and care
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and senior leadership team
- Support the delivery of special ocassions, private dining and special events in line with the hotel’s reputation
- Monitor and manage the reservations booking system - Resdiary
- be fluent in English and have strong Team leadership qualities
- Be proficient in staff training, organising and doing staff training
- Have strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Be technically proficent in service
- Be knowledgeable and have a passion for food , wines and cocktail making and mixology
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience managing a quality restaurant and bar environment
- A natural host with a passion for refined hospitality
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
- Excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines and premium beverage service
- Commercially aware, organised and detail-focused
- Calm, polished and professional in a fast-paced setting
