Rapid Responder – South Dublin
Salary: €33,000 per year + €150 weekly mileage allowance + €1 per call travel allowance
Role Overview:
Kare Plan is recruiting a full-time Rapid Responder to provide emergency home care support across South Dublin. This role involves covering care calls at short notice, supporting urgent hospital discharges, and delivering high-quality care to clients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover emergency and last-minute care calls
- Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare meals and carry out light household duties
- Support with mobility, transfers, and medication supervision
- Monitor clients’ wellbeing and report any concerns
- Deliver care in line with individual care plans and health & safety procedures
Working Hours:
- Full-time, 4-day working week
- Availability required between 8:00am and 9:00pm
- Rotating schedule:
o Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
o Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Requirements:
- QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (started or completed) or equivalent
- Full driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle
- Compassionate, reliable, and organised
- Fluent spoken and written English
