We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our Construction team in Galway.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of site engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project drawings and specifications
- Monitoring construction activities and ensuring compliance with design requirements
- Assisting with site management and coordination of subcontractors
- Maintaining accurate site records, measurements, and reports
- Ensuring quality control procedures are implemented and maintained
- Supporting health and safety standards across the site
- Liaising with project managers, contractors, and design teams
Requirements
- Degree or qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 2-5 years previous experience working as a Site Engineer on construction projects
- Proficiency with setting-out equipment and surveying instruments
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full driving licence preferred
