SES Water Management are looking to recruit for an Accounts Assistant for their growing finance department. This position will be based in Macroom, Co Cork
Position & Key responsibilities/Duties:
- Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a small finance team
- Credit card & bank reconciliations
- Accounts receivable, including collections
- Accounts payable, posting invoices & reconciliations
- Maintaining purchase order system
- Assist with monthly management accounts and audit processes
- Other ad-hoc duties as they arise
Key skills and competencies:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in manufacturing or construction industries beneficial.
- Accounting Technician / Part-Qualified Accountant (desirable but not essential)
- Experience inOracle Netsuite is desirable but not essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, excel etc
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work on one’s own initiative
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
