We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Tyre Baling Operator to join our team in Lullymore, Co. Kildare. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe handling, sorting, and baling of used tyres in a busy recycling environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort incoming tyres by type, size, and condition
- Operate tyre baling machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Prepare tyres for processing and ensure correct loading into balers
- Stack, store, and organise baled tyres in designated areas
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Carry out routine checks on machinery and report any faults or issues
- Follow all health & safety procedures and site rules
- Assist with general yard duties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manual or industrial work environment preferred
- Good level of physical fitness (role involves manual handling)
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
- Good timekeeping and reliability
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Counterbalance forklift licence and experience
- Experience working in recycling, waste management, or similar industry
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €14.15 per hour
