Since opening our flagship retail store, Danfay Newlands in 2024, the business has continued to grow, and we are now looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Service & Parts Advisor to join our team.
This is a varied role that combines customer service, workshop scheduling and parts. You will be an important link between our customers, parts department and workshop, helping to ensure that every customer receives a professional and efficient experience from the moment they contact us.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting customers with parts enquiries, sourcing parts and placing daily parts orders.
- Maintaining appropriate stock levels of high-turnover parts and workshop consumables.
- Booking motorcycles into the workshop and scheduling jobs with our mechanics.
- Keeping customers informed throughout the service process, including updates on work being carried out, additional requirements and parts lead times.
- Liaising closely with the workshop team to ensure the daily service schedule runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Preparing and updating customer and job information accurately on our systems.
- Providing a consistently high level of customer service, whether dealing with a simple parts enquiry or managing a customer's motorcycle service from booking through to completion.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an interest in motorcycles and/or automotive parts.
- Has good attention to detail and takes pride in keeping their work environment organised and professional.
- Is confident communicating with customers in person, over the telephone and by email.
- Is organised and able to manage multiple customer enquiries and workshop bookings throughout the day.
- Has a positive attitude and is keen to learn and develop their knowledge within the motorcycle industry.
- Understands the importance of delivering the same high level of customer service regardless of the value or complexity of the enquiry — whether helping a customer find a replacement bolt or booking a motorcycle in for a major service.
- Can work effectively as part of a small, close-knit team.
- Previous experience in a motorcycle, automotive, parts or service environment would be an advantage.
- Experience using POS or dealership management systems would also be an advantage.

This is a full-time position working Tuesday to Saturday.
