OCC Construction, a well-established main contractor based in Galway, is currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of residential and commercial projects across the West of Ireland. Following continuous rapid growth, this represents an excellent opportunity for a high-calibre Project Quantity Surveyor to join a progressive contractor with a strong pipeline of work.

Role Responsibilities
- Manage budgets, cost tracking and commercial reporting.
- Administer construction contracts (PWC, RIAI) and prepare payment certs and final accounts
- Monitor project cash flow, report on cost/value reconciliations, and flag commercial risks
- Procure subcontractor packages and support supply chain coordination
- Evaluate, negotiate, and process subcontractor variations and claims
- Attend site meetings and oversee subcontractor performance and compliance
- Maintain all commercial and contractual documentation for audit and scorecard reporting
Key Requirements
- Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor with 2+ years’ experience (ideally main contracting)
- Strong experience with PWC and RIAI contracts.
- Solid knowledge of subcontractor account management and commercial control
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in excel, Cubit experience is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Irish construction regulations and industry best practice.
Salary & Package:
- From €55,000+ DOE, plus full benefits package.
