Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our team initially to cover a period of sick leave. This role is temporary at first, but there is the potential to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our range of systems. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective and timely service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of components, parts and equipment on new systems
- Carry out diagnostic and remedial repairs to our existing systems
- Installation, commissioning and testing on commercial systems
- Provide technical support to service office as well as customer base when required
- Assist in the supervision, organisation and stock control of Oakstown stores
- Fulfil all appointments as scheduled through Syncroteam
- Ensure customer payments are collected and processed correctly
- Ensure Syncroteam reports are prepared and uploaded for every call out
- Provide assistance and technical support to Research & Development initiatives undertaken by Oakstown
Requirements:
- Full clean driving licence
- Technical knowledge of wastewater treatment systems or electrical services
- Background in plumbing or electrician-based role essential.
- The ideal person should have experience in a similar scheduling or service-related role.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions.
- Customer service experience
