We are looking for a Trainee Lightning Conductor Engineer who would be interested in re training as a Lightning Conductor Engineer to join our growing team. The role involves the installation, testing, maintenance, and inspection of lightning protection systems, ensuring compliance with IS EN 62305 and related industry standards.
This is a hands-on position that requires both technical knowledge and practical site experience. You will work under the supervision of a lead engineer on a wide variety of projects, from new installations on large-scale construction sites to periodic inspections and upgrades on existing buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and test lightning protection systems to IS EN 62305 standards.
- Perform periodic testing and certification of existing systems.
- Produce accurate site reports and documentation.
- Work at height safely and competently using appropriate access equipment.
- Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements at all times.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Ability to work at height (with valid training/certifications).
- Full Irish driving licence essential
- Out doors work in all weather is required.
- Good communication and reporting skills.

- Must be willing to travel around ireland and lodge away from home occasionally.
Desirable:
- Electrician or apprentice electrician
- Previous experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
- Minimum 3 years experience within the industry
