We are hiring for a Corporate Tax Manager to lead corporation tax work across a varied client portfolio. You will oversee compliance delivery, advise on technical tax matters, manage client relationships, and support the development of junior tax colleagues. The successful candidate will be working in a team of 15 tax professionals, primarily focused on tax compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all areas of corporation tax; manage audits, compliance obligations, and risk exposure across client portfolios
- Lead preparation and review of tax provisions and calculations; ensure timely, compliant reporting
- Provide advice on general and complex tax issues; identify optimisation opportunities for clients
- Deep expertise across Corporation Tax including Interest Limitation rules, Country-By-Country Reporting, Transfer Pricing, Close Company provisions, Double Tax Relief, and Group Relief
- Build trust-based client relationships; act as a key point of contact and deliver high-calibre service
- Work closely with colleagues across all teams on multi-disciplinary projects
- Ensure all work complies with firm risk management, quality control, and ethical policies
- Monitor and interpret tax legislation changes; advise clients on necessary adaptations
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior tax team members; provide technical training and performance feedback
Requirements
- CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent tax/accountancy qualification
- Experience managing complex corporate tax portfolios
- Exposure to multi-disciplinary tax or advisory projects
- Corporate tax management experience
- Experience in the provision of compliance services
- Strong training and mentoring skills
- Strong computing skills including Excel, Word, and tax applications
- Commercial judgement, attention to detail, and confidence handling senior client relationships
