The Role: Precision & Problem Solving
This is a high-impact, hands-on technical role focused on the installation, maintenance, and commission of specialized industrial and pharmaceutical-grade systems.
- Advanced Installations: Lead and assist in the rollout of high-speed & Industrial doors and cutting-edge fire protection components on large-scale, high-spec industrial sites.
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to ensure maximum uptime for premium clients.
- Rapid Response: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve unscheduled emergency mechanical/electrical faults with efficiency and precision.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a rigorous, zero-compromise standard of safety and quality on every site.
What You Bring (Key Requirements)Industry Expertise: Direct, proven experience in the industrial door, dock leveler, or high-speed automatic door sector is highly desirable.
- Electro-Mechanical Skillset: A strong dual capability in mechanical engineering and electrical fault-finding/wiring. Relevant trade qualifications are a distinct advantage.
- Compliance & Licensing: * Full, clean Irish Driver’s License (Must be 23+ for fleet insurance purposes).
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates.
- Site Ready: Highly proficient with specialized power tools and comfortable with the physical demands of large-scale site environments.
- Professionalism: Excellent communication skills, capable of representing GEA Industrial on high-security pharmaceutical and corporate sites.
Preferred (But Not Essential):
- IPAF / Working at Heights (WAH) certification.
- Forklift / Telehandler license.
