German Operations & Logistics Coordinator
Location: Maynooth, Ireland
Full-Time | Permanent
German & English Speaking
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive German Operations & Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Ireland and play a key role in supporting our growing German operation.
This is much more than a traditional administration role. You will be the central operational link between our teams in Ireland and Germany, taking responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of equipment, logistics, service engineers, customer deliveries and operational administration.
You will report to the General Manager in Ireland, with a direct working and functional relationship with our General Manager in Germany.
The Role
You will take ownership of the day-to-day operational coordination of our German business, ensuring that equipment, engineers, freight, deliveries, collections and service requirements are effectively planned and managed.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating all movement of equipment from Ireland to Germany.
- Organising freight, transport, collections and deliveries between Ireland and Germany.
- Managing the movement and relocation of equipment within Germany.
- Coordinating equipment deliveries, installations, collections, exchanges and service visits.
- Managing the day-to-day schedule and movements of our German-based Service Engineer.
- Ensuring engineers have the correct equipment, parts, site information and customer details required to complete their work.
- Maintaining accurate records of equipment locations, movements and operational status.
- Liaising directly with customers in Germany regarding deliveries, collections, installations and service requirements.
- Coordinating operational requirements for one of our major blue-chip customers operating across both Ireland and Germany.
- Acting as a key point of contact between our Irish and German operations.
- Working closely with the General Manager Germany to prioritise customer requirements and upcoming deployments.
- Working with our Irish operations team to coordinate equipment and resources required for Germany.
- Booking and managing freight and logistics providers, including tracking shipments and resolving delays or delivery issues.
- Maintaining service schedules, delivery documentation, equipment records and customer/site information.
- Supporting the continued development of operational processes and systems as our German business grows.
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, confident and comfortable taking ownership of a busy operational workload.
You should have:
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with customers.
- Experience in logistics, operations, service coordination, transport, engineering support or a similar environment would be an advantage.
- The ability to coordinate multiple deliveries, engineers, customers and priorities at the same time.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly around equipment movements and documentation.
- Good computer skills and confidence working with operational and administrative systems.
- The ability to work independently, make decisions and solve day-to-day operational problems.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership rather than simply wait for instructions.
Experience within the security, CCTV, construction, engineering, equipment hire or field-service sectors would be beneficial but is not essential.
What We're Looking For
The right person will become a key part of our European operation.
We need someone who can receive a requirement — whether that is moving equipment from Ireland to Germany, relocating systems between German customer sites, arranging an urgent service visit or coordinating a major customer deployment — and take ownership of the process from start to finish.
As our German operation continues to expand, there will be an opportunity for the successful candidate to grow with the business and take on increased operational responsibility.
If you are fluent in German and English, highly organised and enjoy coordinating people, equipment and customers in a fast-moving environment, we would like to hear from you.
