Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Qualified Electrician based in Cork. The role involves performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs, as well as troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues. The candidate will work on a variety of projects, ensuring all tasks are completed to high safety and quality standards in compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in domestic ,commercial and light industrial settings.
- Perform wiring, cabling, fault-finding, and general electrical work.
- Ensure all work complies with safety procedures, company standards, and industry regulations.
- Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional work area.
- Work respectfully and professionally with team members, clients, and contractors.
- Report progress and updates to electrical supervisors.
- Assist with training and support of apprentice electricians when required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Electrician with at least 1 years post-apprenticeship experience.
- QC number is a distinct advantage (paid training provided if needed).
- Full, clean driving licence and reliable transport.
- Strong time management, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and act as a team player.
- Leadership qualities and willingness to mentor apprentices.
- Positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude with strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety, high-quality workmanship, and client satisfaction.
