McMahon's is one of Celbridge's best-loved local bars, known for its warm atmosphere, great pint, quality food and loyal customer base. We're now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Manager to lead our team and help us continue delivering the quality and craic our regulars expect.
The role
- Day-to-day management of bar and food service operations, including opening and closing
- Leading, motivating and rostering a team of bar and floor staff
- Maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness and presentation throughout the venue
- Overseeing food service standards and coordinating with kitchen staff
- Stock management, ordering and supplier liaison
- Cash handling, float management and end-of-day reconciliation
- Ensuring full compliance with licensing laws and Health & Safety requirements
- Handling customer queries and resolving any issues professionally
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a bar management or hospitality supervisory role
- Experience working in a venue serving both food and beverages
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to get the best from a team
- Excellent knowledge of draught, spirits, wine and cocktail service
- A natural people person — friendly, professional and calm under pressure
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Pay: €45,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
