We are seeking a reliable and motivated Ventilation Fitter & Commissioner to join our growing team. The role involves the installation, testing, balancing, and commissioning of residential ventilation systems across a range of projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in HVAC, ventilation, ducting installation, electrical, plumbing, or construction who wants to work in a specialist and growing industry.
Responsibilities
Installation of ventilation systems including:
MEV systems
MVHR systems
Extract fans and ductwork
Reading and working from plans and drawings
Testing, balancing, and commissioning ventilation systems
Completing commissioning reports and handover documentation
Fault finding and troubleshooting systems when required
Ensuring installations comply with current regulations and standards
Liaising professionally with builders, site managers, and homeowners
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment on site
Requirements
Essential
Full clean driving licence
Good practical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Safe Pass and Manual Handling (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
Experience in ventilation, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or construction work
NZEB ventilation course done
Experience commissioning MVHR or MEV systems
Familiarity with building regulations and airtightness standards
CSCS card or equivalent certification
