Perennial Freight Ltd is growing and we are seeking experienced HGV drivers to join our existing team of professional drivers.
Based in Wexford you will be required to drive throughout Ireland. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Load/offload at various customer sites/ports
- Correctly secure loads
- Plan routes
- Complete paperwork
- Comply with driving hours/tachograph regulations. Minimum 39 hours per week
- Complete a daily vehicle check to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and that all checks are carried out in line with the ‘Daily Vehicle Check’ procedure.
- Drive in a safe and responsible manner, complying with all current Road Transport Regulations at all times
- Complete all training assigned
Skills
- Must have current E&C driving licence, CPC and Digi tachograph cards
- Good spoken and written English.
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience operating HGV vehicles, preferably in a similar role or industry.
Perennial Freight welcomes candidates from all backgrounds and countries. This role is based in Ireland and as a result, you must hold the required Licence and CPC to work and drive this class of vehicle in the Republic of Ireland.
