Job description
As a Chef de Partie you'll get to oversee a section , be it pastry, sauce or meat & fish, pizza . As a modern kitchen offering informal and contemporary menus a all rounder would be best suited as the sections will route to keep everyone notice and learning.
No two days are ever the same in our venue , and you’ll find the environment fast paced and fun. You’ll have an amazing mix of customers and colleagues to brighten your day.
A TYPICAL DAY / WEEK
- Day time Shifts : 8am-5.3pm Monday -Sunday (4 shifts a week)
- We usually start our day with prep and for the day ahead
- We then begin to set up our sections and open at 10am
- Kitchen closes at 3.3pm and there is two hours then dedicated to clean down and prep for the following day
- Developing a strong knowledge of our beverage range.
- Developing Menus , dish development and ideas meetings.
- Evening Shift :3pm-11pm Thursaday - Sunday
- We start our day with prep for the Pizza Section (Grand Stretch)
- Working closely with our head chef Laura
- We then begin to dinner service at 5.30-9
- Great opportunity to learn form amazing chefs
- Getting involved in store events and staying up to date on what’s happening in Dubh/ Grand Stretch /Bad Habits.
- Always working within the framework of Company procedures and policies and being particularly vigilant with our Health and Safety guidelines.
REQUIRMENTS:
- Have pervious hospitality experinece
- Have Worked as a Chef in a busy restaurant
- Have worked in a Fast paced kitchen where food is prepared from scratch
- Be enthusiastic, confident - a people person
- Have knowledge of food trends and nutrition
- Assisting the Head Chef and Management team in creating menus , recipes and developing dishes
- Be prepared to work 5 over 7 days
- be HASSUP trained and confident in enforcing rules and regulations in relation to food preparation and hygiene
- Monitoring Portion control and Food Waste ( this is extremely important)

Pay: €14.15-€17.15 per hour
