We are seeking a motivated Graduate or Junior Estimator to join our team supporting the delivery of Cubicm³ and RainSafe arch-based stormwater attenuation systems. This role suits a recent graduate in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or someone with practical estimating experience in the construction or building industry.
You will be responsible for reviewing incoming enquiries for stormwater management systems — typically written descriptions, drawings, and Excel schedules — and extracting key technical information to produce accurate, competitive proposals. Full on‑the‑job training will be provided, working closely with our Sales, Design, and Operations teams.
This is a primarily office-based role in Swords, with hybrid arrangements available depending on circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project enquiries, drawings, and specifications for stormwater attenuation systems.
- Interpret drainage layouts and extract relevant technical information.
- Input data into Excel-based tools and layout configurators to generate proposals.
- Prepare commercial quotations and support Sales with technical clarifications.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure proposals align with design and operational requirements.
- Follow established processes and maintain organised, accurate records.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar — OR practical experience in construction estimating.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong numerical and commercial aptitude.
- Good communication skills — both written and verbal — with confidence discussing technical subject matter.
- Computer literate: Excel, MS Office, Adobe, and basic CAD skills.
- Well-organised, process-driven, and able to manage workload independently.
- Personable team player with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
- Practical construction site experience preferred.
- Full Irish driver’s licence required.
- Current SafePass preferred (support provided for the right candidate).
Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
