We are currently seeking a dedicated candidate for our busy Online Orders team to join as Grocery Fulfilment Assistant.
Responsibilities
Pick and fulfil online grocery orders accurately and efficiently.
Check products for quality, freshness, correct quantities and best-before dates.
Ensure orders are completed accurately and any unavailable or substituted products are communicated appropriately.
Pack customer orders carefully, ensuring products are protected and presented to a high standard.
Separate and organise orders according to driver delivery, courier delivery or customer collection.
Ensure all orders are correctly labelled and ready for dispatch within the required timeframe.
Prepare chilled and ambient products appropriately for delivery.
Build and pack gift hampers and bespoke customer orders according to specifications.
Ensure hampers are presented attractively and securely packed for transport.
Assist with loading and organising completed orders for drivers and couriers.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe online fulfilment area.
Follow all company procedures relating to food safety, HACCP, allergen control and product handling.
Report any stock discrepancies, damaged products or issues with customer orders to the relevant manager.
Work closely with the Foodhall, stock and management teams to ensure orders are fulfilled smoothly.
Provide excellent customer service when dealing with customer queries relating to online orders.
Support other Foodhall duties when online order volumes are low.
Complete any other reasonable duties required to support the smooth operation of the Foodhall.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good knowledge of grocery products and food handling.
Ability to prioritise multiple orders and deadlines.

Previous experience in retail, grocery fulfilment, online orders or warehouse operations is desirable.
