We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team. At TINE Ireland the Maintenance Team has responsibility for Production and Utilities. The role involves carrying out Reactive, Corrective and Preventive maintenance on Utilities and Production Equipment in a timely and efficient manner. This role will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
- Performance Management – Ability to manage machine output on an hour-by-hour basis and analyse trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to carry out preventative and corrective maintenance activities, completing all associated paperwork and records on the CMMS.
- Ability to repair industrial production equipment such as high-speed packaging machines, conveyors, Pumps, Gearboxes, bearings, motor change out, valves etc.
- Problem Solving – Strong mechanical /electrical problem-solving skills are essential.
- Ensure real time repair of machines and equipment to get them back up & running within optimum time frame.
- Experience in Pneumatics, Electronics, Programmable Logical Controllers, Servo Motor drives, VSDs is an advantage.
- Experience in high volume automation / fmcg / robotics is an advantage.
- Document all aspects of maintenance work carried out and keep management informed of potential issues.
- Guarantee that the works comply with site quality, Safety standards and guidelines.

- Comply with relevant laws and protect your own safety and health, as well as the safety and health of anyone who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
- Carry out Permits relevant to the task being performed and approval before proceeding.
- Cooperate with TINE Ireland regarding safety, health, and welfare at work.
- Participate in safety and health training offered by TINE Ireland.
- Make proper use of all machinery, tools, etc. and of all Personal Protective Equipment provided for use at work.
- Report any defects in the place of work, equipment, etc. which might endanger safety and health.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Trade Qualified.
- Conscientious with a high attention to detail and an ability to multitask.
- Motivated self-starter, who can work both independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of prioritising tasks whilst possessing the ability to work under pressure.
- Teamwork – Ability to work with Operators & Technicians and across various departments.
- Proven experience in process improvements and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluent English.
- IT literate and experienced in automation environment is an advantage.
- Enthusiastic, hardworking, and energetic.
- Flexibility to meet peak work demands as required.
Working Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts, mornings, and evenings (paid at the relevant shift rate)
- On call schedule
