This position is based in Charleville County Cork at our head office.

Report to an experienced senior management team.
QS experience in a consultancy service/project management focused company.
Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying function across multiple projects.
Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors as needed.
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities (BOQ’s) to ARM4/5 and schedule of rates (SOR)
Provide accurate estimates and manage project costs.
Evaluate and negotiate contracts, contract changes and variations.
Assist with the preparation of cost plans and cash flow projections.
Document controls and filing.
Regularly communicate with clients, contractors and design teams.
Assist with the preparation of progress reports.
Displays thorough understanding of specifications, bills of quantities, and drawings
Computer literate in Microsoft Office and other Quantity Surveying Packages
Demonstrates excellent budgetary responsibility
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to provide and explain accurate reporting.
Excellent organisation and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
Self-starter and ability to organise the workday around assigned activities and priorities with minimum supervision.
Ability to work successfully as part of a team
Previous PQS experience is a requirement.
Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor within the Consultancy construction sector
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, cost management, and contract administration.
Proficiency in industry-standard quantity surveying and cost estimation software (Cubit or Cost X)
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
Good knowledge of the construction industry and standard practices including BCAR compliance.
Ability to work independently when required.
Strong written and communication skills.
Good IT skills.
Must be eligible to work full time in Ireland
Have a full Irish driving license.
