Role Summary
We are continuously striving for service excellence within the workplace, and as Senior Project Manager (PMO) you will manage the delivery of our Transition Process Model (TPM) to operationalise our UK&I contracts and deliver our transformation concepts.
The Project Management Office sets the standards and defines the governance framework for all Transition projects and programme delivery for the UK&I to ensure consistency and transparency in the delivery of our TPM.
As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for working to a common set of best practices, principles and templates for managing and supporting projects as well as tracking and reporting data.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage account specific programmes, projects and/or workstreams within a business change programme (mobilisation wins, retentions and growth)
- Direct the PMO and mobilisation team to ensure robust governance, utilisation of the ISS Project Management Framework, systems and processes
- Take full accountability for the programme outcome ensuring contract deliverables and ISS outputs are ready through the plan activities and tasks to successfully mobilise the contract
- Demonstrate best practice and knowledge sharing
Transition Process Model (TPM) Responsibilities
- Ownership for the delivery of accurate project plans based on ISS requirements to deliver against the agreed strategic and tactical objectives of the contract
- Lead the delivery of day-to-day activities in accordance with the project plan
- Ensure accountability, focus, transparency and accelerated execution of projects
- Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure that goals are achieved
- Ensure effective stakeholder management, a robust escalation management process as part of the applied governance model and a strong communications plan for each initiative being delivered
- Deputise in the absence of senior managers as requested
- Confidently chair meetings ensuring agenda are fully prepared, required inputs are identified and outcomes are recorded and actioned
- Identify dependencies and complexities relating to other programmes, projects and/or workstreams and coordinate to support resolution and alignment
- Produce accurate and timely reporting for key stakeholders including programme / project health, status of Key Performance Indicators, activity progress, risks and issues
- Facilitate accurate RAID (Risks, Issues, Assumptions & Dependencies) management processes ensuring content is meaningful and current
- Maintain all programme and/or project documentation and coordinate the collation of relevant project / workstream documentation to support and evidence overall delivery
- Manage budgets and operating plans and work with commercial and operational teams to create programme funding proposals
- Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team performance
- Manage the successful closure of the programme / project and ensure lessons learned are captured and implemented through best practice across regions and accounts
- Identify continuous development opportunities and support the senior leadership team in winning them across the account

Key Qualifications, Experience and competencies
- Educated to at least degree level or appropriate professional accreditation (PMP, Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent)
- Proven Project Management experience (ideally 3+ years), preferably in the FM industry
- Experienced in the use of Project Management tools such as MS Project/Monday.Com
- Demonstrable understanding of commercial contracts
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong data analysis, report design and presentation skills
- Computer literate (MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Positive team working ethos and commitment to delivery and learning
- Fluent in English (second language a bonus)
- Experienced working in a diverse environment with multiple cultures and nationalities
