Starbucks Navan is looking for an experienced cafe manager, who will be responsible for the overall operation and performance of the store. This includes leading and developing the team, maintaining operational excellence, ensuring outstanding customer service, achieving financial targets, and representing the Starbucks brand within the local community.
The successful candidate will be a passionate leader who can inspire others, create an engaging environment, and consistently deliver the highest standards across all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop store partners.
- Create a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning.
- Lead by example and promote Starbucks values and standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Develop succession plans and identify future leaders within the team.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure the store consistently delivers exceptional beverage quality and customer service.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, health and safety, and compliance.
- Monitor inventory, ordering, waste, and stock management.
- Deliver effective labour scheduling to meet business needs.
- Implement company initiatives, promotions, and operational standards.
- Drive sales growth and achieve business targets.
- Analyse key performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage labour costs, controllable expenses, and store profitability.
- Maximise sales through effective product knowledge, merchandising, and customer engagement.
Customer Experience
- Create a welcoming environment that delivers the Starbucks Experience every day.
- Build strong relationships with customers and respond effectively to feedback.
- Ensure every customer interaction reflects Starbucks' commitment to quality and connection.
Community Engagement
- Establish and maintain a strong presence within the local community.
- Develop relationships with local businesses, schools, sports clubs, and community organisations.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships and community events that strengthen the Starbucks brand.
- Act as a brand ambassador both inside and outside the store
