What you will actually do
The Finance and Operations Director is the architect of OmniPro’s organisational scalability. This individual will bridge the gap between high-level financial strategy and day-to-day operational execution, ensuring that the group’s systems, people, and finances are aligned to meet its growth objectives. This is a dual-impact role designed for a leader who excels at using data-driven insights to solve complex business challenges. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the financial structure of the OmniPro Group so that leadership has complete visibility of performance and the business operates on clear metrics, financial discipline and predictable cash flow. This role is for an entrepreneurial commercial strategic accountant who wants to go beyond the numbers
You will:
- Long-Range Planning: Develop and implement multi-year financial models and strategies that align with company-wide growth targets.
- Build group financial reporting system, that provides weekly financial visibility for leadership.
- Act as a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board, providing actionable insights on financial health, market trends, and risk mitigation.
- Manage financial planning and forecasting ensuring there is predictable financial control
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Improve profitability across divisions leading to higher EDITDA
- Create divisional P&L dashboards that every divisional leader has clarity and understands their numbers.
- Process Architecture: Design and optimise cross-departmental workflows to enhance productivity and reduce operational friction.
- Design KPI scorecards that provide transparency across the group and clear ownership
- Support implementation of the OmniPro Operating System across the group
- Resource Optimisation: Manage procurement, vendor relationships to drive cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- Digital Transformation: Facilitate and co create the processes, the technology, the standard operating procedures, the automations and AI appropriate for a business seeking to model financial excellence.

- Framework Management: Establish and maintain rigorous internal controls and a comprehensive risk management framework.
- Oversee financial governance and compliance
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure full compliance with all relevant financial, legal, and industry-specific regulations.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing Finance and Operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and digital fluency with accurate and timely reporting functions

- Proven track record in leading digital transformation projects, with proficiency in modern ERP systems and AI-driven financial tools.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex datasets into clear, strategic narratives for non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen with significant experience in finance operations/financial management.
- Proven leadership and team management capability.
- Ability to operate in a multi-entity or group structure

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA or Master's preferred.
- Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) with at least 5-10 years of progressive leadership experience.
