We are particularly interested in candidates who are fully flexible for full time hours. Candidates must be flexible to work across weekdays & weekends, when needed.

The main duties of the Hotel Porter will involve assisting with conferences and events within the hotel, assisting guests requests & providing excellent guest care at all times.
The successful candidate will gain experience working with all Departments throughout the hotel to assist with the smooth running of the day-to-day operations.
The Hotel Porter will work closely with the management team to ensure that we exceed our guest expectations every time.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide attentive service to guests, catering to their needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout their stay.

Assist guests with their luggage upon arrival and departure, ensuring their belongings are safely transported to and from their rooms.

Provide guidance and assistance to guests regarding hotel amenities, facilities, and local attractions.

Provide exemplary customer service at all times, addressing guests' inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and courteously.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour while interacting with guests, striving to exceed their expectations and create a positive impression of the hotel.

Set up conference rooms and event spaces according to specified layouts and requirements.

Assist event organizers and attendees with logistical support, including equipment setup, AV needs, and room configurations.

Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of conference rooms and event spaces before, during, and after events.

Monitor and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.

Conduct regular inspections of public areas, ensuring they are clean, organized, and presentable to guests at all times.

Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and security protocols.

Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences and operational efficiency.

Communicate efficiently with colleagues and supervisors, providing support and assistance as needed to maintain high standards of service.

Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to uniform standards and grooming guidelines at all times.
A little bit about you:

You have a warm, friendly and engaging personality and will take pride in providing excellent guest care at all times

Good level of written and spoken English
-
1 year experience as Hotel Porter or similar role in a 4* Hotel environment is preferred however it is not essential as full training will be provided

Available to work mid-week and weekend shifts

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to take initiative and anticipate customer needs
