Job Purpose
The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, unloading, stacking, and storage of pallets, timber, and other materials within the Pallet Centre. The role plays a critical part in supporting production, warehouse operations, customer service, and health and safety standards. The Forklift Driver ensures materials are transported accurately and safely while maintaining productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

Experience and QualificationsEssential
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, logistics, or pallet operations environment.
- Experience operating 4-fork forklifts with lifting capacities up to 6.15 tonnes.
- Ability to safely handle, transport, stack, and load palletized products and timber materials.
- Basic understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Competence in carrying out daily forklift safety inspections and reporting defects.
- Experience loading and unloading trailers, containers, and bulk deliveries.
Desirable
- Experience within a pallet manufacturing, repair, recycling, or timber processing environment.
- Familiarity with large-capacity material handling equipment and multi-fork attachments.
- Knowledge of stock control and warehouse management systems.
- Manual Handling Certification.
- Experience working in busy yard operations with pedestrian and vehicle traffic management systems.
Key Skills and Competencies (Additional)
- Skilled in operating 4-fork forklifts up to 6.15-tonne capacity safely and efficiently.
- Strong load stability awareness and safe stacking techniques.
- Experience handling oversized, bulky, or heavy pallet loads.
- Ability to maneuver large-capacity forklifts in confined warehouse and yard environments.

Pay: €16.23-€17.39 per hour
