As a Process Engineer, you’ll play a key part in developing and co-ordinating production processes in line with production schedules based on customer demand and sales forecasts. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across Procurement, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Sales. This is a hands-on role that involves regular interaction with various departments to ensure on-time delivery and optimal workflow.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Track and analyse production processes in line with production plan to capture:
- Manufacturing Process capacity and process capability to deliver required throughput and OTD.
- Manufacturing Process performance by tracking KPI’s
- ERP system performance and opportunities for enhancement
- Department co-ordination
- Develop SOP’s for production and assembly processes
- Assist in developing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
- Assist releasing and managing Work Orders in ERP in order to track KPI’s.
- Prioritise and sequence shop-floor activities to meet throughput and OTD targets.
- Monitor and control Work-in-Progress (WIP)
- Ensure production traceability and ERP data accuracy
- Assist tracking and reporting on key production metrics (KPI, efficiency, downtime)
- Coordinate with Procurement to secure raw materials and components
What Are We Looking For?
- 3+ years’ experience in a production process engineering role, preferably within heavy manufacturing environment.
- Experience in engineering, mechanical, or industrial manufacturing is a plus
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
- Confident communicator with cross-functional teamwork skills
- Advanced Excel skills desirable
- Familiarity with Lean principles would be advantageous
Pay: €35,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
