The Racecourse Marketing Support (RMS) team provides strategic long-term growth support to all 26 Irish racecourses. Support may include, but is not limited to, delivering marketing and communications campaigns, programmes to grow marketable audiences, customer experience and fan engagement initiatives, as well as providing seminars and workshops to support information sharing and professional development within the industry. This rolle will report to Racecourse Marketing Support Manager.
The RMS Executive is a team player with excellent project management, communication and organisation skills and is someone that thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working with the Racecourse Marketing Support Manager, wider HRI marketing team and racecourse teams - the RMS Executive will use insights and research to support each racecourse in maximising attendances of their flagship race day or festival.
Core responsibilities of the Racecourse Marketing Support Executive include:

Support the Racecourse Marketing Support Manager to provide marketing support to independent racecourses.

Work with each racecourse to assist them in achieving their attendance targets for their flagship race day or festival.

Work with HRI's media buying agency to develop an annual plan in support of racecourses focused on achieving KPIs of audience reach and
traffic/conversions for each flagship race day or festival.

Work with HRI's Design Manager to produce a suite of creative assets for each campaign that appeal to the target audience.

Devise and implement a content plan in support of large festivals and events across HRI social channels.

Support the planning and implementation of the annual HRI Seminar and workshops to include venue and supplier booking, guest speaker liaison,
invitations, and response management, reporting and budget control.
Other Duties:
- Active contribution to the development of marketing campaigns, marketing innovation and plans.

Support overall marketing activity for HRI and Subsidiaries when required.
Skills and experience you will need for the Racecourse Marketing Support Executive role:

2+ years' experience in brand, marketing, or communications roles.

A team player with excellent project management, communication and organisation skills - along with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Experience with stakeholder management.

Proven experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

Strong content creation and copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.

Strong understanding of digital marketing and content performance.

Data-driven mindset with experience analysing performance and optimising campaigns.

Excellent budget management skills.

An exceptional understanding of the role of earned and owned media in promoting racing and creating event publicity.

Experience in briefing and managing output of 3rd party agencies e.g. creative, media buying and content creation.

An ability to work to set KPI's and to monitor & optimise digital and social campaigns.

An ability to devise and implement data growth initiatives.

As racing is a seven-day business, flexibility in relation to working hours and days is required.
