- Responsible to assure high standard of service quality, organisation, efficiency and cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Taking full accountability for the restaurant when the Restaurant Manager is not present.
- Being the go-to person for all colleagues for their day-to-day queries in the absence of the restaurant manager.
- Leading communication in the restaurant and creating an environment of two-way communication.
- Coaching and managing colleagues to enable them to deliver daily priorities and be in the right place at the right time to meet customer needs.
- Managing all aspects of Health, Safety and Food Hygiene.
- Handles customer complaints.
- Responsible for ordering stock
- People management /Coaching staff
- From time to time, you may be involved in recruitment with the HR department
- Supervising restaurant staff performance
- Assist with menu planning
- cooking/ prep
- Manage daily operations
- Scheduling shifts
- Balancing cash register
- From time to time, you will be required to cover staff duties in their absence from the kitchen tasks to the front of house.
The working hours would be 5 days over 7 ,working shifts over a 40 hour week.
This role will be an exciting position as you will have an opportunity to input new ideas to the restaurant in collaboration with the Pau Family.
