Kids Rule Afterschool is a growing Afterschool Care service in the North West.
We provide wrap around care for children age 4 years and over, offering a happy, safe and nurturing environment both before and after school.
We are now looking to expand our team and have the following vacancy:
Afterschool Childcare Practitioner
Elphin, Co. Roscommon, 20 hours per week
The Role:
- Helping to create fun, creative, and educational activities that meet the needs of the children.
- Ensuring that all safety and safeguarding guidelines are followed.
- Building positive relationships with parents, school staff, and local communities.
- Addressing any concerns from parents or staff in a caring and timely manner.
- This role is Mon-Friday 14:00-18:00
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience/qualification isn't essential though it is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- A genuine passion for working with children and commitment to providing a nurturing environment.
- Fluent English speaker. Strong communication skills and a friendly.
- A proactive problem-solver who can manage multiple tasks while staying calm under pressure.
- A good understanding of safeguarding practices and child welfare.
Pay: €15.00 per hour
