We operate a full production and finishing facility to produce high quality Rotational Moulded Products. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
The Responsibilities
· Delivery of plant objectives.
· Organisation of production plans and schedules for modern plant.
· Setting and attainment of plant cost savings targets – product and overhead.
· Leadership and motivation of an established operational team, including Production, Transport, Stock Control & Purchasing, Maintenance, and all production matters.
· Liaise with the marketing and technical design teams in bringing innovative products to market.
· Lead the drive for continuous quality improvement in an ISO 9002 environment.
· Manage the purchasing and stock control functions in hands-on mode.
· Participate fully as a key member of the management team.
The Person
· Several years of proven achievement as a Production Manager.
· A relevant third level qualification is desirable, but not essential.
· Commercial and results oriented approach.
· A Hands-on shop floor participation and can-do attitude essential
· Experience of compiling, administering and controlling production and operational budgets.
· Experience in purchasing and stock control in a manufacturing facility
· Living in the local area or within a reasonable commuting distance.
· Experience in the plastics moulding business is desirable but not essential.
The position is based in our Manufacturing facility in Blessington Co. Wicklow.
Hours of Work – 39 hours per week.
Package: A competitive pack is on offer including a salary €42,000 per year, we offer high quality accommodation to overseas applicants if required. Bonus and profit sharing is possible.
