We are seeking a professional tailor to join our family business. The ideal candidate would have proven experience in garment alterations, fitting, repairs and custom tailoring, along with a strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
Duties of a Tailor / Seamstress:
1] Completion of daily given target.
2] Garment alterations (hemming, shortening, lengthening, resizing, etc)
3]Taking in/letting out garments
4]Repairs (zips, buttons, seams, linings)
5] Fittings with customers and making garments.
6]Sewing by machine and hand
7] Working with fabrics such as cotton, wool, denim, silk,etc.
8]Pressing and finishing garments.
9] Measuring customers for alterations.
10] Basic pattern adjustments (if required)
11] Maintaining sewing equipment and work area.
12]Friendly, polite, and professional when assisting customers with clothing alterations and custom sewing requests.
13]Able to explain measurements, fabric choices, and repair options clearly.
14]Good listening skills with attention to customer preferences and details.
15]Committed to delivering high-quality workmanship while ensuring customer satisfaction.
16] Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team
12] Any other related task given by professional tailor or manager.
Hours of work flexible.
Pay is 14.15per hour.
