Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our establishment, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and an ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors, ensuring all surfaces are clean and presentable.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to management.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Assist in laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic cooking skills would be advantageous for assisting with meal preparations when required.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
