This newly created Financial Analyst job in County Roscommon is a unique opportunity to develop your FP&A experience in an international medical device manufacturing company if you are a qualified Financial Accountant or Financial Analyst living in the region. Commutable from Sligo, Leitrim, Longford, Mayo and South Donegal, you will partner with the Financial Controller on financial analysis, cost control and monitoring the financial performance of two manufacturing sites.
As the Financial Analyst you will:
- Prepare the monthly manufacturing site scorecard for two sites, one in Ireland and one in the US, outlining KPIs such as gross revenue, gross margin, working capital among other KPIs that inform leadership decision making
- Contribute to the annual budget formation and quarterly reforecasting
- Business partner with non-financial leaders on budget performance and arising financial analysis requests
- Complete monthly inventory reconciliations, standard cost rolls and fixed asset management
- Report on the effectiveness of cost saving initiatives across both manufacturing sites and partner with project leaders of cost saving projects to help maximise savings
- Contribute to capital expenditure calculations and operational expenditure oversight
- Liaise with external auditors on audit requests for the Roscommon site
- Partner with the offshore shared services team who will complete transactional and month-end close work allowing you do the value add financial analysis

To become the Financial Analyst you will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 1-5 years’ industry PQE.
