Responsibilities:
· Lead the day-to-day finance function.
· Ensure timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
· Manage cash flow, working capital and treasury.
· Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and fixed assets.
· Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
· Deliver financial analysis, financial modelling and KPI reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.
· Maintain strong financial controls and governance.
· Manage statutory reporting and tax compliance.
· Lead the annual external audit and statutory accounts process.
· Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and certification requirements.
· Maintain accounting policies, internal financial controls and effective risk management processes
· Lead, mentor and develop the Finance team.
· Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.
· Promote collaboration across departments.
· Partner with the managing director and senior management team to support the development and execution of the firm's business strategy.
· Provide strategic financial insight and commercial support to the Managing Director, Board and Senior Management Team.
· Support ad hoc projects, integrations and due diligence activities.
· Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisers and other external stakeholders.
· Provide commercial analysis and business performance reporting to support informed decision-making.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA).
- Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience.
- Previous experience leading a finance team.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience producing management and statutory accounts.
- Budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Strong systems experience (ERP/accounting software).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Pay: €80,000.00-€125,000.00 per year
