We are seeking an experienced and talented Solar PV Roofer/Carpenter to join our installation team. This is an excellent opportunity to combine your roofing expertise with a rewarding career in Ireland’s growing renewable-energy sector.
The Role
This position involves travelling to customers’ homes and businesses throughout Leinster, Monaghan and Cavan to install solar PV panels.
All work must be completed in accordance with SEAI standards, building regulations and our internal health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV panels and mounting systems on domestic, commercial and agricultural roofs
- Assess and plan roofing work safely and efficiently on site
- Communicate clearly with homeowners and keep them informed of progress
- Complete installations within the allocated time
- Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Compile, record and submit all required installation documentation
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- A roofing or carpentry qualification
- At least two years of solar PV installation experience
- Strong knowledge of solar PV mounting systems and roofing practices
- Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Natural leadership ability and a willingness to develop professionally
- A driven, ambitious and self-motivated approach
- A genuine passion for renewable-energy technologies
- Willingness to travel throughout Leinster, Monaghan and Cavan
