Full job description

The Auld Triange is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team .

Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will take responsibility for managing a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring the consistent preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes. This role is ideal for a motivated chef looking to further develop their skills and take ownership within a professional and high-volume kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Take full responsibility for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within your assigned section, ensuring high culinary standards at all times.
Supervise and support Commis Chefs, providing guidance, training, and direction during service.
Ensure all food is prepared to specification and presented consistently across services.
Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene in your section in line with HACCP requirements.
Monitor stock levels, ensure correct stock rotation, and report shortages or quality issues promptly.
Assist with ordering, receiving, and correct storage of deliveries.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, Fire, and Food Safety regulations.
Contribute ideas for menu development and continuous improvement where appropriate.
Maintain a positive, professional, and collaborative working relationship with kitchen and Food & Beverage teams.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up.
Solid knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (HACCP certification preferred).
Ability to lead by example and support junior team members.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: €16.00-€20.00 per hour
