Full job description

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Records Analyst to join our Operations Records team. This role is suitable for candidates with experience in aviation technical records as well as individuals looking to begin a career in the aviation industry.

The Records Analyst is responsible for supporting the management, review, and maintenance of aircraft, engine, and component technical records. Working closely with Records Managers, Senior Analysts, and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure records are accurate, complete, traceable, and compliant with aviation regulatory requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to aircraft and engine asset management, leasing activities, regulatory compliance, technical documentation, and commercial aviation transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Records Management

Maintain accurate and organised records for aircraft, engines, and components.
Update and manage leased engine documentation in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Create and maintain Excel-based records workbooks and tracking tools.
Upload, verify, and manage documentation within internal records management systems.
Ensure all assigned records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.

Records Review & Analysis

Support aircraft and engine pre-purchase (pre-buy) records reviews.
Review technical documentation to identify missing, incomplete, or non-compliant records.
Assist with records evaluations against airworthiness and aftermarket requirements.
Provide updates and reports on ongoing reviews and projects.

Traceability & Compliance

Conduct research to establish back-to-birth traceability for engines, landing gear, and life-limited components.
Verify compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and regulatory requirements.
Assist in monitoring regulatory updates and ensuring records remain compliant.

Technical Support & Research

Carry out records research and document retrieval activities.
Assist with investigations relating to engine, aircraft, and component history.
Respond to internal records-related queries and provide documentation support.

Asset Documentation & Reporting

Review consignment assets and identify discrepancies or missing documentation.
Assist in creating engine and asset documentation workbooks.
Maintain organised records packages to support leasing, sales, acquisitions, and audits.
Provide regular progress updates on assigned activities.

Audit & Quality Support

Prepare and validate records for internal and external audits.
Ensure adherence to company procedures and aviation regulatory standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Records function.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

Previous experience in aviation, technical records, document control, administration, engineering support, or a related environment.
Understanding of aircraft and engine documentation.
Experience working with aviation records systems such as Quantum or similar platforms.
Knowledge of aviation regulations including EASA Part 145, Part 21, CAMO, or equivalent.
Experience supporting aircraft or engine records reviews.

Qualifications

Entry-Level Candidates

Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
Aviation-related studies, training, or qualifications.

Experienced Candidates

Minimum 3 years' experience in aviation technical records, airworthiness, maintenance planning, engineering support, or a related aviation environment preferred.
Relevant aviation qualification or industry experience is advantageous.
