AV Sales & Business Development Executive

About Scope AV

Scope AV is a specialist Audio Visual solutions provider delivering professional AV systems and services to businesses and organisations across Ireland. We work with clients to design and deliver reliable, high-quality technology solutions that improve communication, collaboration and user experience.

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially focused AV Sales & Business Development Executive to develop new business opportunities and grow Scope AV's presence across the Limerick and Galway regions.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, developing relationships with prospective clients and identifying opportunities for Scope AV's range of professional Audio Visual solutions.

This is primarily a business development and consultative sales role, suited to someone who enjoys meeting customers, building relationships and developing opportunities from initial prospecting through to proposal and sale.

You will work closely with Scope AV's technical and project teams to understand customer requirements and develop appropriate AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities across Limerick, Galway and the wider region.
Proactively prospect for new customers through telephone, email, networking, referrals and face-to-face meetings.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
Arrange and attend meetings with prospective customers to understand their business and AV requirements.
Develop relationships with key decision-makers including business owners, facilities managers, IT managers, architects, consultants and contractors.
Promote Scope AV's portfolio of Audio Visual products, solutions and services.
Work with the technical team to develop AV solutions that meet customer requirements and budgets.
Prepare and present quotations, proposals and solution recommendations.
Manage opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle, from initial contact through to negotiation and order.
Follow up on quotations and proposals and actively progress opportunities towards close.
Maintain accurate records of customer activity, opportunities and sales pipeline.
Develop repeat business and long-term relationships with customers.
Attend networking events, industry events and other business development opportunities where appropriate.
Monitor market activity and identify new sectors, customers and commercial opportunities.
Achieve agreed sales, business development and revenue targets.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is proactive, professional and comfortable developing new business relationships.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in B2B sales, account management or business development.
A proven ability to generate and develop new business opportunities.
Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
Confidence dealing with senior decision-makers and business customers.
A consultative approach to sales and the ability to understand customer requirements.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently.
A self-motivated and results-driven approach.
Good IT skills and experience using CRM or sales management systems.
A full clean driving licence.

Desirable Experience

Experience within any of the following sectors would be advantageous:

Professional Audio Visual systems
IT or technology sales
Video conferencing and collaboration solutions
Commercial displays and digital signage
Meeting room technology
Electrical or electronic systems
Construction, fit-out or facilities-related services

Previous AV industry experience is beneficial but is not essential for a candidate with strong B2B business development experience and an interest in technology.
