Avista in partnership with the HSE are lead agency of East Limerick Children Services, a Childrens Disability Network Team in Limerick. We are looking for candidates who are committed to supporting children with disabilities who have complex needs and their families, in a family and person centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research. As a Basic Grade Occupational Therapist you will join our highly motivated interdisciplinary Childrens Disability Network Team providing services to children and families.
Essential:
- A BSc in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent CORU recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
- Up to date CORU registration
- Applicants with qualifications obtained outside of Ireland must provide a certificate of validation of their qualifications from the Department of Health.
- Full clean Irish driving licence and use of a car.
- Proficiency in the English language.
Desirable:
- Clinical experience of working with children with a variety of complex needs including Autism, Intellectual Disability and Physical Disability.
Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioral competencies of Avista competency framework.
