The Opportunity
We are seeking Accounting Technicians / Entry-Level Audit Associate to join our growing Audit team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to develop a strong foundation in audit and assurance within a structured, supportive, and high-quality learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of audit engagements in accordance with EY audit methodology and professional standards
- Perform audit procedures on key financial statement areas
- Prepare audit working papers and documentation in line with audit quality requirements
- Assist with walkthroughs and testing of internal controls
- Support audit seniors and managers with engagement fieldwork and administration
- Interact professionally with client finance teams to obtain audit evidence
- Use audit tools and Microsoft Excel to perform and document audit procedures
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks and complete them accurately and on time
To qualify for the role you must be
- Accounting Technician qualification (qualified or finalist) or equivalent accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and organised approach to work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take feedback constructively
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Previous experience in audit, accounting, or a finance function
- Exposure to financial statements prepared under FRS 102 or IFRS
Career Progression
