Job Description
Kenaidan Contractors Ltd. Currently have a vacancy for a Quantity Surveyor:

All quantity surveying duties including measurements, valuation and agreement of work sections
Correspondence with clients/clients’ representatives
Preparation of accurate forecasts / cost value reconciliation of project costs to completion and final value
Prepare change orders and variation logs on the project together with weekly reports on job progress
Prepare monthly interim valuations.
Sub-contractor re-measurement, interim and final account payments.
Ongoing job cost monitoring and reporting with Financial Manager / Contracts Manager / Foremen
Compiling variation logs and signing off on variations with Contracts Manager.
Estimating and tendering for projects where required

Requirements:

Qualifications: BSc Quantity Surveying
Experience & Skills: 5 years Previous Project QS experience
Previous experience in any aspect of the construction industry an advantage.
Competent Computer skills required, Microsoft office suite, Bluebeam Revu, and in particular Microsoft excel
Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Candidates will be required to work efficiently as an integral part of the team to achieve company objectives in line with furthering their own career.
Excellent communication skills and professional manner expected
