Housekeeper

Inishbofin House Hotel

About the Role

Inishbofin House Hotel is seeking a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms and corridors to a consistently high standard.
Change bed linen, replenish towels and restock guest amenities.
Vacuum, dust, polish and mop guest rooms and public areas.
Ensure all public areas, including reception, lounges, stairways and guest toilets, are clean and well presented throughout the day.
Report any maintenance issues, damages or lost property to management promptly.
Replenish housekeeping supplies and maintain housekeeping trolleys and linen stores.
Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures, ensuring the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Assist with laundry duties when required.
Work efficiently to ensure guest rooms are ready for check-in on time.
Deliver friendly, courteous service to guests and assist with reasonable guest requests where possible.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments to ensure a smooth operation.
Carry out any additional housekeeping duties as requested by management.

What We're Looking For

Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Reliable, punctual and flexible, including availability to work weekends and public holidays.
Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
