Wills Bros is hiring an experienced General Foreman / Civils Foreman to support the delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the Southeast Region. This permanent, full-time role is suited to a site-based foreman or construction supervisor with strong experience across roads, drainage, utilities, earthworks, concrete works and general civils packages.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced General Foreman, Civils Foreman or Civil Engineering Foreman to take a key site leadership role with a leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractor, overseeing daily site operations and supporting the safe, efficient delivery of infrastructure works across Ireland.

The Role: General Foreman / Civils Foreman
As a General Foreman / Civils Foreman with Wills Bros, you will lead and supervise site operations across civil engineering and infrastructure projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise site teams across general civil engineering, infrastructure and public works projects.
- Coordinate daily site activities including roads, drainage, utilities, earthworks, kerbing, paving, concrete works and associated civil packages.
- Plan and sequence works in line with project programmes, method statements, drawings and site priorities.
- Manage labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to support productivity, quality and programme delivery.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Agents, Site Engineers, subcontractors and project stakeholders to maintain safe and efficient delivery.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, quality standards and client requirements.
- Promote and enforce Health & Safety compliance across all site activities.
- Conduct toolbox talks, site briefings, risk assessments and site inspections as required.
- Identify and resolve site issues proactively, escalating risks where required.
- Maintain site records, daily diaries and support project reporting requirements.
About You
We are interested in hearing from experienced General Foremen, Civils Foremen, Civil Engineering Foremen, Site Foremen, Site Supervisors and Construction Supervisors who possess:
- Strong experience working as a General Foreman, Civils Foreman, Site Foreman or site-based civil engineering supervisor.
- Proven experience delivering civil engineering, infrastructure, roads, drainage, utilities or public works projects in Ireland or the UK.
- Broad general civils experience across earthworks, drainage, utilities, roads, concrete works, kerbing, paving, public realm or similar infrastructure packages.
- Excellent understanding of Irish Health & Safety legislation, site compliance and safe systems of work.
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills with the ability to motivate site teams.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, method statements, risk assessments and site documentation.
- Effective planning, organisation and problem-solving abilities with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Full clean Irish driving licence.
- Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, safety-focused and solutions-driven approach to site management.
