Cleaning Operative Wanted

Part-Time Cleaner – Educational Facility

Location: Educational Facility For Children
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (15 hours per week)
Employment Type: Part-Time
Start Date: Mid-July 2026

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team at an educational facility for children. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment. Excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to high cleaning standards are essential.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize rooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures.
Clean and disinfect desks, tables, door handles, and other high-touch surfaces.
Replenish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and other hygiene supplies.
Clean mirrors, glass panels, and internal windows as required.
Maintain washroom facilities to a high standard of cleanliness.
Follow all health and safety procedures and infection control protocols.
Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damage to management.
Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Complete daily cleaning schedules and ensure all areas meet required standards.

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Good understanding of health and safety practices.
Ability to work in an educational environment.
