Full job description

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently hiring English Language Teachers to deliver customized in-person lessons to our clients in Cork, Ireland.

Job Information:

Reference: 198456
Target language: English
Student: Individual class for a gentleman
Availability: Weekdays from 8:00 am
Location: Eastgate Rd, Kilcoolishal, Cork
Preferred start date: ASAP
Lesson frequency: 2x a week; 1-hour lessons
Current English level: Intermediate
Student's language needs and goals: The student seeks to become fluent in English. He would like a mix of structured and conversational lessons and to work on Business English.

Responsibilities:

Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

To have a native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English
To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field
To have a minimum of two years of teaching ESL experience
