Human Resources Business Partner

Full-time | Permanent | Shercock, County Cavan

About the Role

As an HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in shaping a positive, high-performing workplace where people can thrive. You’ll partner closely with managers and employees across the business, supporting them with everything from employee development to engagement and employee relations.

This role is all about building strong relationships, solving people challenges, and helping to create a culture where our teams feel supported, valued, and motivated. You’ll be part of a collaborative HR team, working in a fast-paced environment where you’ll make a real impact every day.

What You’ll Do

Partner with managers to handle day-to-day people matters such as attendance, performance, and employee relations.
Coach and guide managers on performance management, employee engagement, and development conversations.
Manage employee relations cases, ensuring fair, consistent, and timely outcomes.
Support the delivery of HR initiatives and projects that align with business goals.
Provide accurate HR data and insights to help leaders make informed decisions.
Keep policies and procedures up to date and user-friendly.
Champion a positive, safe, and respectful workplace culture.
Act as a trusted advisor to managers, encouraging best practice in people management.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years’ experience in Human Resources (FMCG or fast-paced environments ideal).
Strong knowledge of HR practices and Irish employment legislation.
Confident handling complex employee relations issues.
Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
A problem-solver who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
Relevant qualification in HR, Business, or a related field.
