Full job description

Join Our Growing Team in Carlow

Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we are looking for an organised and motivated Office Administrator to join our busy and expanding solar company based in Carlow.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience within the solar industry is highly desirable, particularly experience with NC6 applications and SEAI Grant Proceedures, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

The Role

As part of our administration team, you will be responsible for:

Managing day-to-day office administration and supporting the wider team.
Preparing and processing customer documentation.
Assisting with NC6 applications and other SEAI-related paperwork.
Liaising with customers, suppliers and installation teams.
Scheduling appointments and coordinating installation dates.
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
Answering telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner.
Providing general administrative support as required.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in an administration or office support role.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise workloads and work efficiently in a busy office environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Requirements

Previous experience working within the solar or renewable energy industry.
Experience preparing or processing NC6 applications.
Knowledge of SEAI grant administration and associated documentation.
