Eurodeck Ltd is expanding its manufacturing operation and is looking for an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager to take ownership of our engineering and maintenance function.
With significant investment in new production machinery, this is an opportunity to build and lead the engineering team as the factory continues to grow.
The Role
- Build, lead and develop the maintenance and engineering team
- Help recruit additional mechanical and electrical engineers/technicians
- Manage mechanical and electrical maintenance across the factory
- Take ownership of breakdowns, preventative maintenance and machine reliability
- Plan and oversee installation and commissioning of new machinery
- Manage contractors, engineering spares and maintenance schedules
- Identify and implement machinery and process improvements
- Work closely with production to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
About You
- Strong engineering/maintenance background in manufacturing
- Previous experience leading a maintenance or engineering team
- Strong hands-on mechanical and/or electrical knowledge
- Experience with automated production machinery
- Experience installing and commissioning new equipment
- Practical, hands-on approach to fault finding and problem solving
- PLC/automation experience would be an advantage
Experience in plastics, extrusion, recycling, packaging or other continuous manufacturing would be beneficial but is not essential.
Salary: €65,000–€80,000 DOE
