Join Our Quality Team at Nature’s Best

Nature’s Best is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to join our growing Quality team in Drogheda. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in food manufacturing who is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Working closely with the Quality Manager, Production Supervisors, and factory teams, you will play an important role in ensuring our products meet customer expectations, company standards, and all food safety and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with production teams to ensure products preparation, portioning, and packing meet company standards and customer specifications.
Ensure daily production activities remain focused on quality, food safety, and compliance.
Support the Quality Assurance team in maintaining compliance with BRC, HACCP, customer, and legislative requirements.
Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and support corrective and preventative actions.
Carry out inspections and testing of raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
Complete CCP validations, process checks, and food safety verification activities.
Ensure all quality and production documentation is completed accurately and in line with required standards.
Carry out calibration checks on factory equipment, including temperature probes, data loggers, and weighing equipment.
Perform environmental monitoring, ATP testing, hygiene checks, and cleaning validations.
Conduct internal audits including GMP, hygiene, glass and hard plastic, traceability, and other quality management system audits.
Carry out product release checks including product tasting, weight checks, temperature checks, packaging checks, and specification compliance.
Monitor factory procedures including allergen control, foreign body prevention, traceability, label control, and hygiene standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production and quality functions.
Complete any other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in food manufacturing is highly desirable.
Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
Fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential.
Additional languages are considered an advantage.
